Coronavirus update 13 March 2020
On 13 March 2020, the Regional State Administrative Agencies confirmed the Government’s recommendation to cancel large public events. The regulations prohibiting public gatherings of more than 500 people indoors and outdoors in order to combat the spread of COVID-19, i.e. coronavirus, are valid for one month, until 12 April 2020, in accordance with the Infectious Diseases Act. According to the Government’s recommendation, all events of more than 500 people should be cancelled until 31 May 2020.
Since the regulations of the public authorities and the Government’s recommendation do not extend to Tuska, all arrangements for the festival will continue normally on the assumption that Tuska will take place as planned in June. Similarly, we have not received information from any of the confirmed artists that they would be cancelling their appearances. However, if Tuska 2020 were to be cancelled completely due to coronavirus, tickets that have been purchased would be refunded to customers.
Safety is our top priority, and we comply and act on the recommendations and regulations of the public authorities. We always post the latest news and information on the Tuska website and on our social media channels.
